How the OLX listing usually goes

An ad for a heavy-deposit flat in Ulwe, Seawoods, Nerul, or nearby, often under a name you have never heard.
Chat moves to WhatsApp or a phone call. An agent offers to show the flat.
They ask for a token before you have read the full agreement.
Then a heavy deposit of ₹5 lakh to ₹30 lakh.
You sign two papers: a rent agreement between you and the real owner, and an investment agreement between you and Sumit.
Rent runs a few months, then stops. The deposit does not come back.

Before you pay on any OLX listing
